Adelaide Crows veteran Richard Douglas has announced he will retire at the end of this season.
Dougy has told the club’s website:
“From a football perspective, there has been so many great times but it is the people and the lifelong friendships that are the real highlights,” Douglas said.
“I arrived at the Club as a teenager and the many people past and present who make it such a special place have played a significant role in shaping the person I am today.
“I’ll miss the day-to-day things that come with being part of a professional footy environment but I am also excited about the next phase of my life.”
Earlier this week fellow Crow Andy Otten also announced his retirement.
Thank you for 14 incredible years, @rjdouglas26 #weflyasone
