The Adelaide Crows have made a “ridiculous” demand for Dayne Zorko from the Brisbane Lions in return for Charlie Cameron, according to reports.
Zorko has won Brisbane’s best and fairest for the last three years in a row.
Writing for the Herald Sun, Jon Ralph reports:
“Adelaide continues to reject realistic trade deals for Charlie Cameron and has instead demanded Lions star Dayne Zorko in exchange for the homesick star.
“Crows list manager Justin Reid continues to butt heads with Cameron’s management, saying the beaten Grand Finalists need an established player if they are to release him.
“The Lions have already offered pick No.20 as compensation but Adelaide is refusing to listen to deals that involve picks.
“Cameron will walk to Brisbane in the pre-season draft at the end of next year if Adelaide holds him to the last season of his contract.
“It seems certain the Lions will have to wait another year for Cameron unless the Crows can find a senior player to fill the void.”
