The Adelaide Crows have dipped their lids to the AFL premiers after copping a hiding in the 2017 grand final.

Richmond 16.12 (108) defeated Adelaide 8.12 (60) on Saturday.

“Far too good for us” the club tweeted immediately after the game.

Speaking on the ground after the loss, captain Taylor Walker said:

“Sorry Crows fans, we couldn’t get it done -- but thank you for travelling.”

Meanwhile it’s all smiles for the Richmond footy club who have broken a 37-year premiership drought.
