Adelaide United will consider the possibility of luring Tim Cahill to the Reds, according to a breaking report from The Advertiser.
Melbourne City announced on Wednesday Cahill would leave the club, effective immediately.
According to the paper, United football GM Ante Kovacevic and coach Marco Kutz were due to met up after training on Wednesday morning to discuss the superstar.
“He is definitely a very good player to consider but Marco must also assess whether he would be a good fit for the team,” Kovacevic said.
Yesterday United announced Algerian international Karim Matmour would be leaving the club immediately for personal reasons.
