The Adelaide Crows are leaving the option of trading their way up the AFL Draft order firmly on the table.
“We’re open-minded,” AFC list manager Justin Reid told Trade Radio on Monday.
“Obviously there’s a fair bit to play out.
“We’ve got the next three days and then… we can trade picks up until November 16 then live trading on draft night.”
Asked whether he would consider swapping Adelaide’s picks eight and 13 for St Kilda’s pick four, Reid said he was “open minded”, while St Kilda’s Simon Lethlean indicated the Saints wouldn’t be interested.
Reports surfaced last week that Adelaide could look to trade its way up the draft — which is packed with top SA talent this year — after Port Adelaide cut a deal with Fremantle to secure pick six.
