A black and gold Adelaide Crows beanie available from the club’s merch store has some fans scratching their heads over its resemblance to the strip of 2017 premiers Richmond.
Crows players were infamously played the Richmond theme song during a pre-season camp, and now News Ltd reports the club’s “New Era Black & Gold” beanie has “left a few puzzled fans a little cold”.
According to The Advertiser:
“A CROWmania shop spokesman pointed out that Richmond is yellow and black, whereas the beanie is black and gold — and it does have Crows written on it and a Crows logo.
“The design is from last year, when all clubs had a black and gold beanie for sale and the spokesman said it was selling well.
“‘But there has been a bit of backlash,’ the spokesman said.”
Adelaide takes on Richmond at the MCG on Friday night.
Easy, Tiger!
