Port Adelaide captain Travis Boak has challenged Olympic swimmer Kyle Chalmers to a showdown … in the pool.

Boaky told the FIVEaa sports show on Thursday that a race had been pencilled in before the Olympics.

“We planned to have a race before Rio,” Boak said -- “four of our best swimmers versus Kyle in the pool.”

“We were going to do 25m each -- and he’d do the 100. We might have to get that organised ... I think he said he’d put up the gold for the race.”

Boaky bumped into Chalmers in the FIVEaa studio -- and commented on the dings and scratches in the champ’s gold medal …

The lad’s obviously been “out and about with the gold medal” Boak figured.

Yep. A Gold medal is a ticket to pretty much anywhere …

“You wouldn’t need to line up, wouldya,” said Boak.
