Port Adelaide Heads Interstate To Do Some ‘Hybrid’ Training

Port Adelaide’s first and second year players landed in Sydney on Monday to take part in a “hybrid” training camp with the NRL’s South Sydney Rabbitohs.

“We’ll do a lot of our own work around the NRL stuff,” Port’s Aaron Greaves told FIVEaa on Friday. “Then we’ll do two or three sessions each day with hybrid games that we’ve created with the NRL boys.”

“We want to pile it on a little bit, like some of the training camps we’ve done overseas in the past to really give them a spike week to really teach them how Port Adelaide train and what we’re about with our demands and expectations.

“It’s quite an intense week and I think they’ll be fairly fatigued and ready for a rest at the end of it.”
