Bicks told the FIVEaa sports show:
“I know Taylor Walker fairly well because of an association down there coaching and he is a happy-go-lucky type of guy. It really surprised me when he spoke about the fact that he really didn’t want to go our and meet people. “That’s a really interesting one: ‘I wouldn’t go out because I didn’t want to see people, supporters.’ “He was specifically talking about his own fans there… I think that’s one of the issues at the moment, that players clearly feel under enormous pressure… if they’re not playing well they don’t feel worthy of going out in public… “When you and I played we had horrible losses, we lost by 20 goals, but I don’t think we ever felt the need to hide away. That’s been a major shift from where I sit and it’s sad that it’s come to that.”
