Former Port Adelaide captain Travis Boak says under fire teammate Jack Watts has made “positive changes” in his life since the time he was filmed inhaling powder off a woman’s cleavage at Oktoberfest last year.

“It's not acceptable and he knows that,” Boaky told the FIVEaa sports show. “From our point of view it's now about looking after Jack and making sure he's okay.”

“It's important to know it's not an illicit drug. Obviously we don't stand for drugs in the AFL and at our club, and knowing it's not illicit is great news.

“He's making positive changes in his life and has been taking some great steps forward, so for this to come out from October, it's hard on him and we want to make sure his mental health is looked after.”
