Browny Says The Crows Have Answered The One Question That Was Hanging Over Them

Jonathan Brown says the Crouch bros have gone to the next level and Adelaide is now in the “box seat” to win the flag.

“[The Crows] were dominant,” Browny told FIVEaa on Tuesday. “They started really well and that’s how you want to start your finals.”

“Their midfield’s really come on. Big Sammy Jacobs was magnificent under a lot of duress. And the Crouch brothers have gone up now into a-grade status now, and obviously Matty’s been able to get All Australian.

“That was the question mark. The knock from a lot of people -- and certainly myself -- was do they have another elite midfielder outside of Rory Sloane? They’ve shown that under the intensity of finals pressure.

“I was pretty impressed. I think they’re in the box seat now.

“A lot of people are talking up Sydney, but I think Adelaide will take a lot out of their performance when they should’ve beaten Sydney a few weeks back.

“I think Adelaide will be pretty confident.”
