Qantas is apparently thinking about cancelling Fraser Anning’s membership in the airline’s exclusive Chairman’s Lounge after the QLD senator linked last week’s Christchurch mass shooting to Muslim immigration.

FIVEaa Breakfast’s David Penberthy said during Monday’s Breaking @ 8 segment:

“There’s a bit of a campaign that’s been started on Twitter -- I must admit I liked the tweet.

“Qantas are apparently looking at revoking Anning’s membership, kicking him out of the Chairman’s on the basis of his character, I guess, which means that poor old Fraser is going to have a hell of a lot of trouble getting from the check-in counter to the baggage carousel for the few remaining weeks of his term as a senator for Queensland.”

WILL GOODINGS: “Within the purview of a private business to decide who is who isn’t allowed to frequent your most exclusive establishment, I would’ve thought.”

A petition calling for Mr Anning to leave Parliament following his immigration remarks has so far attracted more than one million signatures.
