Nick Xenophon Breaks His Silence To Comment On The Federal Election

Former SA senator Nick Xenophon has made a rare public comment on national politics, saying he believes people can “see through” Clive Palmer’s big spending ad campaign and has instead made the case for the party he founded.

Nick told FIVEaa Breakfast on Tuesday:

“Centre Alliance with Stirling Griff and Rex Patrick and Rebekha Sharkie are in the parliament. Sky Kakoschke-Moore more is working really hard to make a comeback up in the senate.

“I really hope she does because if Skye gets across the line Centre Alliance will have three seats advocating for South Australia in the centre.

“That will put us in an incredibly strong position to negotiate for South Australia and we’re a party of the centre. In my view Clive isn’t the answer.”
