Transport Minister Stephan Knoll had a message on Tuesday’s FIVEaa Breakfast show for motorists after an embankment collapsed on the Darlington North South corridor:

“I’d like to first up apologise to them for the fact that especially this afternoon they could get caught in peak congestion.

“They can rest assured that there’s a lot that’s going on at the moment to make sure that the issue that’s happened down there is going to get fixed. And there’s independent geo-technical advice that proves to South Australians that it’s safe...

“It’s a pretty basic thing to have an embankment hold up.”
