Asked ahead of game number 300 this weekend which was his favourite, former Carlton now Adelaide Crows star Eddie Betts said “there’s a few”, but one stands out.

Eddie told FIVEaa Breakfast on Wednesday:

“Playing at Carlton, because you’ve got the rivalry of Richmond-Carlton, Essendon-Carlton, Collingwood-Carlton -- so those games are really good.

“Essendon were in the finals, we finished ninth, and then they got kicked out of the top eight -- for the drugs stuff -- and put us into the top eight and we ended up playing finals.

“We beat Richmond at the G… there was 90-plus thousand there.

“Louie was just born, a tiny baby… he came to his first AFL game with 90-something thousand at the G.”
