The BOM’s Brett Gage told FIVEaa Breakfast on Monday:
“We’ve got a polar front jet stream coming right up from almost Antarctica so it’s pretty cold. “Currently 13 in the city -- we’re only heading for a top of 18 and that is about 8 degrees below average for this time of year… way below average. “We’ve got a shower or two continuing this morning and the early afternoon but we think it should clear up just in time for the start of the cricket and they should get a full day’s play in.”
