Consumer Affairs will investigate after an Adelaide mum and her autistic son wasted $382 on fake tickets to Elton John’s Wednesday night show in Adelaide.

FIVEaa Breakfast’s David Penberthy said during Thursday’s Breaking @ 8 segment:

“We’ve spoken to the Office of Consumer Affairs… their office has confirmed they are going to be launching an investigation into Sam’s case, which is terrific news.

“We told Sam on air that we would be pursuing this and it sounds like the Consumer Affairs commissioner might end up with quite a fat in tray on this one because there are plenty of other people who are in the same boat as well.”
