FIVEaa’s Warren Tredrea says the Adelaide FC forward line is looking “rusty” and appears a “fair way off clicking” despite the Crows beating Sydney on the weekend.

Tredders told the FIVEaa sports show:

“A lot of people get behind Tex Walker... I thought he was solid. I look back --and this sounds harsh -- the main matchup was Rampe. Is it any surprise they went with Betts more so than a Tex or Jenkins? Tex played well… he played well. I didn’t think he was as good as Buddy, and he showed good leadership in bits and pieces, but he’s playing on kids.

“The link man for me at the moment, Tom Lynch from Adelaide -- not been the level… because he’s not getting the space because everyone’s pushing back. And that’s the same as Tex. I don’t mean this to be a -- I’m just analysing forward lines.

“Eddie Betts plays on Rampe, tough night out. Josh Jenkins, little bits and pieces here and there. I think Adelaide’s big click is their forward line to come because that hasn’t clicked yet and it looks a fair way off clicking. It looks like they are to a certain extent a little rusty.”
