Freshly minted Adelaide Crows CEO Tim Silvers says the club “might have a bit of a different feel to it” as he looks to bring some “family values” to Crowland.
Silvers comes to Adelaide from Hawthorn – famous for being “the family club” – and has told Rowey’s Sports Show:
“I’ve lived and breathed that family club mantra for a long time so I’m going to bring a little bit of that element to the Adelaide footy club. What I’d like to do is open the arms of the club to not only family of the players and staff, make it all encompassing, but also the members, supporters and fans.
“The interaction and the engagement of members is going to be a real key pillar for me. We’re going to be open, transparent and a footy club that might have a bit of a different feel to it but some of the family values are something I stand for and am going to try and bring to the table.”
