FIVEAA’s Stephen Rowe says other clubs must also be fined after the Adelaide Crows were penalised for breaching COVID rules amid reports AFC has now been “inundated” with pics of other players from other clubs also breaking protocol.

The club has released a statement advising it was fined $50,000 after players and staff were found to have not appropriately worn facemasks on a flight weekend before last.
Crows CEO Tim Silvers said: “We failed in this area and we would like to apologise to the other passengers on the plane.”
Rowey told FIVEAA Breakfast’s David & Will on Monday:
“I know Crows did wrong, no excuses, but disappointing to cop a 50k fine that comes off the soft cap when five other cubs have also breached COVID rules. We’ve all seen the photos…
“I hope the AFL today fines those clubs retrospectively or withdraws the Crows’ fine.
“And the sad sap that dobbed them in, I hope they feel great about themselves. I’ve spoken to the club – it could cost someone their job. Honestly.”
PENBO: “The club has been inundated with people sending photographs of other players from other clubs doing exactly the same thing… I don’t think there was anything sinister to what they did…
“The person who took the photo sent it to the club on Tuesday and then apparently was having conversations back and forth about what are you going to do about it… It’s created a culture of dobbing that’s just pathetic.
“If I saw Travis Boak and a whole bunch of Port players on a plane not wearing their masks for a few minutes the last thing I would do is take a photo of then. It’s pathetic.”
