Caroline Wilson says she was “surprised” when fellow panellist Eddie McGuire walked off the set this week while the pair were arguing on Footy Classified.
Caro told the FIVEAA sports show:
“I wasn’t sure he was going to come back…
“Ed felt I was being disrespectful, I think, asking again about the Sidebottom situation and De Goey and the fact I felt he didn’t help Collingwood over the last week. He was a bit offended.
“I’m not suggesting he should leave Footy Classified. I don’t think that for a moment, but Footy Classified is a take-no-prisoners sort of show. It’s been me in the firing line some weeks, it’s been Matthew Lloyd occasionally… I think he just needed to understand.
“But I was a bit surprised when he walked off.”
