Woolworths is introducing temporary measures to prevent panic-buying affecting the elderly and people with a disability.
Starting on Tuesday stores will be open from 7am exclusively for the elderly and vulnerable to do their shopping before opening to everyone else at 8am.
The new hours will run until at least Friday and those needing to go in early will need a relevant concession card.
We’re launching a dedicated shopping hour in our stores to help support the needs of the elderly & people with disability in the community. From tomorrow until at least friday, we’ll be opening exclusively for them to shop from 7-8am, where permitted.
