Woman breaks internet after kids misbehave

2 min read

Kyesha Smith Wood has gone viral, after she took to Facebook to teach her kids a lesson.

Kyesha Smith Wood was mortified by the behaviour of her kids’ during a trip to the movies this week.

She apparently dropped her son, daughter and stepdaughter at the movies, and a few hours later, she ended up having to write this:

She wrote her son and daughters were “rude and obnoxious” during the movie, and had been “disrespectful” after one woman asked them to be quiet.

“After the movie, she approached my girls and told them that her husband had been laid off and this was the last movie she would be able to take her daughter to for a while and my girls ruined that for her.”

The hope, she wanted to track the woman down and apologise her her.

She also wrote she and her husband are “having them write an apology letter tonight and we would like to pay for your next movie and snacks out of their allowance.”

“I apologise profusely for their disrespect.”

The post went nuts, garnering over 250 000 likes on one page… So it wasn’t surprising when Rebecca Boyd replied to it – she was the lady in question.

She said the note had brought her to tears.

“I have no hard feelings towards them and I am proud of their parents. The girls are not bad… They are children. Glad they are learning a lesson. I hope if my teenagers are out and they act up… I hope someone says something to them.”

The end result didn’t end there.

The story has resulted in job offers for Boyd’s husband, too.

What a great story!
