A woman was terrorised in North Adelaide on Tuesday morning when her car was stolen from her at knifepoint.
Police were called to Childers St just after 9.30am following reports three young offenders had stolen the woman’s car.
The victim was allegedly threatened at knifepoint during the robbery, but was not physically injured, police say.
The stolen black Mazda 3 immediately crashed into a tree in nearby Buxton Street and the suspects were detained at the scene by witnesses until police arrived.
Three juveniles — a 15-year-old girl, a 14-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy — are in police custody as investigations into the robbery and collision continue.
They are currently at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital with minor injuries and were expected to be charged later today.
