The first sod’s been turned on a 30-storey apartment building in the city, which is billed as being Adelaide’s tallest.
The 100-million dollar Kodo apartment tower is being built next to the Federal Court building in Angas Street, metres from Victoria Square.

“Kodo will become an iconic feature on the Adelaide skyline,” said Developer Steve Wise said on Wednesday:
“Having assembled an outstanding project team which has put in an enormous amount of work, it’s great to reach this point of the project and see the builders on site and construction underway.
“Our vision for Kodo is about to become reality, which is not only great news for our buyers, but a real vote of confidence in the broader Adelaide economy, including an estimated 250 local jobs during the construction period.”
Construction is expected to be complete by the end of next year, and Mr Wise says 65-percent of the space is already sold.
