The world's dodgiest athlete?

Is this the world’s dodgiest athlete?

You be the judge:

26-year-old Kendall Schler was the first of 582 female finishers at the St Louis marathon last Sunday.

But it was discovered after the race was over and done with, that Schler had removed the timing trip from the bib (both this year and last year), slipping into the latter half of the race to “win”.

Race officials became suss after Schler’s seven interval times weren’t registered, for the second year in a row.

Schler was never spotted amongst the competitors or the leaders either, which is what sparked the investigation.

It turns out, Schler had been creeping into the course late in the race for two years consecutively to make it appear as if she’d run 42kms.

Officials told News.com.au that Schler has been voided, and barred from competing in any more St Louis track events.
