$175 million will be spent to build a rail underpass and new station — the third Oaklands platform in a decade — beneath the intersection of Diagonal and Morphett Roads to help ease traffic congestion.
Some of the money has come from savings made on the T2T project in Adelaide’s west.
Work will commence in 2018.
