South Australia is set for an unusually warm early October week with the temp in parts of the state forecast to reach 40 and beyond.
According to The Advertiser:
“A whopping 43C has been forecast on Thursday for Oak Valley, north of the Nullarbor Plain, and 44C on Friday.
“Back in Adelaide, a top of 27C is expected on Tuesday and 29C on Wednesday.
“Friday could reach 33C, but the bureau is considering reducing it slightly.”
A senior BOM forecaster told the paper the temps are “pretty unusual for this early in October”.
