Santos Tour Down Under race director Mike Turtur says he hopes Wednesday’s stage 2 can give a boost to parts of the Adelaide Hills devastated by recent bushfires.
Mike has told FIVEAA Breakfast:
“I think collectively everyone on the race knows the benefits of the event coming to the regions and towns to assist in the recovery.
“It’s a terrible thing that happened and in some way if we can help rejuvenate the interest and get some action and some business back into the areas we’re certainly happy to do that.”
