SA Police seek help over attempted abduction

1 min read

Police have appealed to the public for help over an attempted abduction at Prospect on Thursday night.

At about 7.30pm a teenage girl was walking along the footpath on Charles Street near Churchill Road, when a car stopped and a man got out of the rear driver’s side passengers seat, say police.

He approached the girl and tried to grab her, but she immediately ran off — luckily she was not physically injured.

The suspect was seen getting back into the car, which drove off along King Street.

He is described as being about 178cm tall, skinny build and wearing leather gloves and a jacket.  The car is described as a silver four-door sedan with shiny paintwork and star shaped alloy wheels.

If anyone witnessed this incident or has any information that may assist police, they are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or you can report online.
