Police are investigating the death of a woman and child found in a home at Glenelg North.
Police were called to the home on Shannon Ave late Thursday night following a request from family to check on the welfare of the occupants.
The deceased are yet to be formally identified, but police believe they are mother and son.
The woman was in her 40s and the boy was about nine.
Police are still investigating, but say no one else is being sought in relation to the incident.
