Adelaide Hills residents have been told to be on alert after pins were found in strawberries at a local supermarket.
FIVEAA Breakfast’s David Penberthy reported during Friday’s Breaking @ 8 segment:
“Pins have been found inserted in strawberries at a supermarket in Stirling. We’ve had photographs provided to us of the pins.
“Clearly there’s a full recall underway and investigation as to how this has happened. Last time it was established that it wasn’t happening at the factories, it was weirdos who were going around sticking pins into the strawberries once they were in the stores…
“We have spoken to police and they’ve told us the Adelaide Hills coppers are onto this and an investigation has been launched. It’s a warning for Adelaide Hills residents who might have shopped in Stirling and bought strawberries over the last week or so.”
