South Australia’s jobless rate has fallen from 6.8 per cent to 6.4 per cent — making it the second worst in the country.
The worst unemployment rate is now in WA, where it sits at 6.5 per cent.
The national unemployment rate is 5.7 per cent (seasonally-adjusted).
An extra 1,600 South Aussies joined the workforce in January — 800 in fulltime jobs.
11,300 jobs have been created in SA in the last year.
