Locals have taken to Twitter to post images of Adelaide and South Australia blanketed in dust as strong winds sweep across the state.
The Bureau of Meterology says visibility has dropped to 10km and forecasts winds to reach up to 60km/h before easing tonight.
The images flooding social media of dusting hanging over the city make for some eerie viewing.
