The SES advises that a dam is “threatening” to burst north of Auburn, and may cause flooding.
Only leave if your path is clear – and for SES assistance call 132 500, or if the matter is life threatening, call triple zero.

The SES has advised that flooding is impacting the Clare and surrounding areas and may be threatening people’s safety.
The level of the Hutt River is rising — and locations that are impacted include Clare township and caravan park.

The SES advises that if your plan is to leave or you are not prepared, you should consider leaving now — but only your path is clear.
9 News reports that Hutt River has burst its banks near Stradbrooke Rd, north of Clare, and the Horrocks Hwy at Stanley Flat is closed.
Floodwaters may rise rapidly and are likely to be fast moving. You should never walk, ride or drive through floodwater or allow children to play in or near
floodwater.
A flood warning has also been issued for Greenock after a dam burst.
