Quinn Walsh’s tribute to her dad

Quinn Walsh – daughter of murdered Adelaide Crows coach Phil Walsh – has posted a plea on Facebook to “Hold your family close, never for a second take them for granted.”

“That will be the second you lose them,” she wrote.

Phil Walsh died in the early hours of Friday morning and his son Cy has been charged with murder.

“I have lost half my family in a blink of an eye, nothing will be right with the world again,” wrote Quinn, who was travelling home to Australia from the US where she was working at a summer camp.

“Will be home soon to be with my mother and to say goodbye to my one and only hero.”

The post comes after others who were close to Phil Walsh have also taken to social media to express their grief, including Taylor Walker and Kane Cornes.
