Police go door knocking in case of girl’s remains

1 min read

Police have started door knocking the areas around Karoonda and Wynarka in an attempt to track down information relating to the remains of a small girl found in a suitcase in July.

“There’s about 810 either properties, businesses or entities in this area that we’re going to have a look at today and over the next couple of days,” Detective Superintendent Des Bray said.

Detective Bray said things were coming back to some of the people police had spoken to, but “nothing that’s going to break the case open yet”.

“But we’re really early stages of what we’re doing.”

Police have also started distributing a brochure, which they hope will lead to more information.
