SA Police Commissioner Grant Stevens says the restrictions around gatherings in South Australia are currently different to most other parts of the country.
Commissioner Stevens told FIVEAA Breakfast’s David & Will on Friday:“Most other jurisdictions in Australia at the moment have moved much closer to directions that limit gatherings to two people… “In South Australia at the moment on this particular day because this is a changing situation almost every day but at the moment we have a rule that says gathering of no more than 10 people. But in those gatherings you must maintain social distancing of 1.5 metres where possible. “There are lots of exemptions for different types of businesses and functions… but the general principle people should be trying to follow is no more than 10 people in a gathering and 1.5m spacing between others. That’s the simplest way to describe what most people need to try and do. “If we see non-compliance with these rules then it is inevitable that we will see a tightening up of these directions and we will have more restrictions on our normal way of life.”
Self-isolation/self-quarantine means you can't leave your house/have contact with others. This ONLY applies to people who fit into specific criteria (ie. returned from travel).

If you do not fit into that criteria, then you are social distancing. https://t.co/aDTZ3BWf4V pic.twitter.com/6kJ109xqX2
