Police Are Investigating Following An Attempted Gumtree Robbery In Adelaide

Police are searching for three suspects after an attempted robbery in Parafield Gardens.

According to SAPOL:

The victim had listed an iPhone for sale on Gumtree and arranged to meet a buyer in Field Street at Parafield Gardens, about 10pm on Tuesday 12 November.

Three men met the victim at his home address, when one of the men produced what appeared to be an imitation firearm and a knife. He threatened the victim and demanded his phone.

The three suspects left empty handed and were last seen running north on The Boulevard.

Northern District patrols cordoned and searched the area with assistance of Police Dog Bandit however the suspects were unable to be located.

One suspect is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, medium build, wearing a blue jacket and dark coloured pants.

The other two suspects are described as being of African appearance aged between 25-30 years, 180-190cm tall, slim build with short black hair. One was wearing all black clothing and the other was wearing a black shirt with red squares, black pants and black shoes.

The victim was not physically injured during the incident.
