FIVEAA Breakfast’s David Penberthy says there is now some interest in a “co-located model” that would see the Adelaide Crows share facilities with the SANFL’s North Adelaide in a new home base.

“There are two sites that are still under consideration. One of them is definitely Thebarton… so what’s the other spot? Some people have been talking about the showgrounds being back on the table. I’m not so sure.
“I had a conversation with someone who has a bit to do with the Prospect Council… apparently the Prospect Council are mad keen on sitting down with the Crows to talk about whether there’s anything that could be done around Prospect with some sort of co-located model between Adelaide – the AFL side – and the SANFL side North Adelaide.
“Apparently West Coast share facilities in Perth with the local WAFL sides and that’s something that’s managed quite easily…
“There’s some interest in the Prospect area, a site on Main North Road – I think it’s an old car yard that is near the Prospect Oval.”
