Saying he would “break the habit of a lifetime” David Penberthy has paid tribute to the city council after listener Barry sent FIVEAA Breakfast a message titled “Congratulations Adelaide City Council”.
Penbo said during Tuesday’s Breaking @ 8 segment:
“Barry says: ‘I have pre-purchased car parking for the upcoming AFL season. Yesterday I received an email from the council advising I would receive a full refund for each round I cannot attend…’
“Great forward thinking,” Penbo said, “and generous by the Adelaide City Council by offering that refund. Unprompted as well.”
