Tourism New Zealand has made a slight mistake in their latest commercial. It’s been pulled from TV but the internet doesn’t forget…
The clip, called The Ultimate Road Trip, features a campervan travelling down an empty road, but in the wrong lane. The rest of the video is a BEAUTIFUL picture of New Zealand but they’ve understandably pulled the ad due to safety reasons.
The producer released a statement saying that the campervan was not actually filmed driving on the wrong side of the road – some shots were ‘flipped’ and ‘mirrored’ during the editing process.
Scary mistake for a video aimed at international tourists.
