Mum cops backlash after revealing her family all sleep in the one bed

2 min read

This mum is receiving a lot of hate on the Internet after she revealed that her entire family all sleep in the same bed.

Elizabeth is a blogger who shared with the Internet that her family all sleep in the same bed.

The family of seven all share the same bed, which is two Ikea beds built together to make a custom bed.

The Boyce family travels a lot for Elizabeth’s job as a photographer, so they decided to turn their sleeping arrangements into a pop-up camper style.

“We travel a lot. When we travel, we stay in one little pop-up camper or one hotel room. That means our kids are accoustomed to sleeping together. Our kiddos have always been raised to believe that if something wasn’t working, we found a solution. Sleeping arrangements are an ever-evolving thing. I am sure we will reconfigure when it stops working.”

Each child has a different bedtime, but Elizabeth said there are rarely any issues when it comes to bedtime.

Although the family all sleep in one room they have other rooms that they use to get changed and if they ever need privacy.

But after posting the blog and photos the family received a lot of backlash with some saying they were abusing their children.

In a YouTube video mum Elizabeth said: “I feel like there’s a lot of judgement, and hate and honestly I really thought that people were nicer than they are. We’re being told that because our children do not have their own rooms, we’re abusing them. It’s just sad to me that we can’t love each other.”
