Premier Steven Marshall has announced the opening of additional “high dependency unit beds” at Adelaide’s Women’s and Children’s Hospital, as well as the “upskilling” of about 80 nurses to operate with the critical care beds.
Mr Marshall said on Monday:“I hope that we never ever use this additional bed capacity nor these nurses, but the reality is we have to be prepared and we’re not leaving one stone unturned in our preparation for the peak of the coronavirus.”WATCH:
