Michael Keaton hides speech after losing

1 min read

Ouch, this hurts.

It’s a good idea to have a speech ready in case you win an Oscar, but what do you do with it if you lose?

Hopefully not get caught tucking it back into your pocket.

That’s what happened to Michael Keaton who was up for Best Actor for his leading role in ‘Birdman’ but lost to Eddie Redmayne.

The lesson: wait until your name is called before you pull the speech out of your pocket.
