A $7 million development of the Adelaide Showground’s south-east corner will include a multipurpose zone, which will be the new home of Cirque du Soleil whenever the company visits Adelaide.
According to the Showgrounds:
“The $7 million south-east development will be a multipurpose zone, able to accommodate horses during the Royal Show, music festivals, Cirque du Soleil and the Adelaide Showground Motorhome Park throughout the year.
“The last major development at the Showground was completed in mid-2017, the north-west corner of the Showground.”
This site will be ready for a Cirque du Soleil performance in May 2020.
