Live shark found in Hills -- police deny Sharknado

UPDATE (3:05PM) — Sad news, the shark found in a puddle at One Tree Hill has now died.

SA Police have OFFICIALLY ruled out the possibility of a “Sharknado” after a shark was found in the Adelaide Hills …

Police said on Friday a small Port Jackson shark had been found alive in a puddle at One Tree Hill.

How the shark got there is a mystery – “however, police have ruled out the possibility of a Sharknado,” police said in a statement …

“It is believed the shark may have been caught earlier today and dumped, or was kept as a pet but was growing too large for its tank.”

A member of Fauna Rescue SA attended and placed the shark in a container of water …

The shark is reportedly still alive.
