A senior forecaster at the Bureau of Meteorology gives FIVEAA Breakfast his early tip for the temp in Adelaide on Christmas Day.
After being assured he wouldn’t be held to it, Tom Bowick told FIVEAA’s Tom Rehn and Mike Smithson on Tuesday:
“I reckon it’s probably going to be somewhere close to around the 30 mark give or take a couple of degrees.
“It’s not really clear at this point… but hopefully the chances of it being really hot are not so likely.
“Fingers crossed its not going to be to crazy a temperature.”

Brace yourself from the heat affecting #SouthAustralia this week. While daily max temps are very high over extensive areas, do note overnight temps are quite high also, creating heat stress. Visit @SA_SES webpage https://t.co/plWuFIxfhi for ways to stay safe.#SAHeatwave pic.twitter.com/k0SGiDlcg6
