US President Donald Trump has celebrated his Senate acquittal with a triumphant speech in which he referred to a previous inquiry into possible collusion with Russia as “bullsh*t”.
Speaking of his impeachment acquittal, President Trump said:
“I’ve done things wrong in my life, I will admit… but this is what the end result is…
“We went through hell, unfairly. We did nothing wrong It was evil, it was corrupt.
“Now we have that gorgeous word. I never thought it would sound so good
“It’s called ‘total acquittal.’”
