The BOM Is Tipping Some Decent Rain For SA

1 min read

Kangaroo Island is inline to receive some of the “better falls” from a rain band heading for South Australia, says the Bureau of Meteorology.

The Bureau’s John Fisher told FIVEAA Breakfast on Tuesday:

“We are in a warming trend… it will warm up quite a bit over the next few days… Thursday looks like the hottest day of the week ahead of a change.

“We do see cloud band developing and moving across from WA and could bring us some patchy rain as we move into Friday.

“We are hoping where fires have affected the state we do see some good rainfall. On Kangaroo Island they could pick up some of the better falls out of this rain band later in the week — looking at up to 10mm over the island.

“That would be good news if it does come off…

“Thursday’s really the key day in terms of the heat and also those fire dangers.”
